Working with the team at Daveron Design + Build By Daveron Builders provides unprecedented access to top designers and fine craftsmanship

Some renovations, additions and homebuilding of any scope and size can be exciting, stressful, enjoyable and overwhelming all at the same time. This range of emotions can make a project worthwhile in the end—as long as you have the right people getting you across that finish line.
The team at Daveron Design + Build has made its mission to be the right people to work with, overseeing your interior or exterior project through from concept to completion.
As a full-service professional interior design, construction and project management company, Daveron has more than 20 years of experience creating beautiful spaces—large and small, both inside and out—for its clients. The goal is to achieve that dream renovation, addition or new build on time and within budget in one low-stress, enjoyable experience. It’s a challenge that Daveron accepts and achieves every day due to their unique approach to every project.
“We have so much at our disposal from a design standpoint, from tile, flooring, countertops, appliances and even furniture right here in our studio,” says Daveron interior designer, Katie Capek. “Our team approach as a design and construction company ensures that we are all on the same page in terms of budget and timing with every aspect of your project.”
At Daveron, the first step is an extensive interview process with interior designers, Katie Capek and Sarah Simpson, whose initial goal is to grasp the scope of the work to be done. This goes way beyond cabinet and paint choices and delves in to your ultimate goals for your current renovation and beyond.
“We help you plan for your family’s future,” says Sarah. “Communication is first and foremost at Daveron. The more we know about how you live, the more we can help you get exactly what you want out of your project today, and in the future.”
Daveron has an online project management site where you can follow your project, view the timeline, see the financials, ask questions and more. This tool keeps you involved and informed every step of the way.
“After the initial interview, we come out to your home, take measurements and gather any other information we need, including seeing the surrounding rooms, to produce full-scale, 3D renderings of the project,” says Sarah. “We project them on a large screen at our studio so you can put yourself inside your new space. It’s so much more than a basic outline of cabinets or sketch of a layout.”
Many big box stores and furniture wholesalers offer a project layout for free, but a 3D rendering from Daveron is so much more than just lines on paper.
“We focus on the function of the space,” says Katie. “Our 3D renderings take your entire home into consideration so your renovation makes sense in your home. You’ll see exactly how the design will flow into the rest of your rooms or outdoor space. We are trained designers, not just people using a software program to mockup a quick layout.”
Katie says the importance of using a designer should not be underestimated, especially with a kitchen or bathroom renovation. Things like cabinet, appliance, and even lighting placement seem easy, but mistakes in these areas make a big difference in the final product.
“Just because something fits on paper doesn’t mean it will look right in the finished room,” says Katie. “We know how to make sure those mistakes don’t happen before our construction crew even gets started. Again, it’s all about communication.”
Daveron Design + Build has a draftsman on staff who produces blueprints for additions and new builds, collects any permits needed and handles the paperwork. It’s one more example of how the team approach at Daveron can save you money.
“You may think it’s cheaper to pick the project apart, hire a designer or architect, then a construction company, purchase cabinets, flooring and other materials yourself,” says Katie. “We do all that legwork, give you options that keep you on budget and add some custom touches to make sure your renovation doesn’t look like your neighbor’s.”
Daveron has a warehouse full of supplies and products, so you’re not waiting months for materials. Its Amish business partner, Pleasant Valley Woodworking, provides all the custom wood products, giving clients flexibility and allowing them to add custom touches to their project for less.
“Also, any changes that need to be made along the way can be made quickly,” says Katie. “The Daveron team is always keeping your budget, your timeline and your vision in mind.”
