Working with each person’s body type and tapping into science-backed nutritional strategies, Carrie Ailstock-Wolford focuses on achieving holistic health through education, accountability and technology.

Carrie’s Weight and Wellness Coaching is backed by licensed chiropractors and recommended by physicians within Lakewood Chiropractic Center. Carrie works as an independent contractor for doctors in Willoughby who focus solely on weight loss, providing a combined over 20 years experience in health and wellness and losing weight.

“More than half my practice is devoted to women over 40 who are challenged by the number one reason for weight gain: unbalanced hormone levels and the impact that has on insulin resistance,” says Carrie, who struggled with her weight growing up, leading her to follow a wellness journey foundational to her Metabolic Reset Program. “There are no weight loss gimmicks, yo-yo diets or quick fixes here. Detoxification begins with eating real, whole foods your body craves. One of the most important components of my program is sustainability.”

Along with a coaching staff, clients check in daily via text or an app Carrie designed. Pictured L-R: Standing: Founder, Carrie Ailstock-Wolford, Kayla McGinnis, seated: Penney Partlow, Sharon Hamilton and Dr. Scott Van Oosten.

Time for a Reset
After the initial consultation we provide a recommended anti-inflammatory food plan that lasts 57 days and is followed by phases to help sustain the weight loss.

Within the first eight weeks, her clients shed an average of 22-35 pounds and notice improved gut health, sleep, stress and energy levels.

A star in her arsenal of wellness decision support technology is the ZYTO scan, which measures and evaluates a person’s biomarkers to pinpoint nutrient deficiencies and intolerances.

“Thanks to the tools we have to assess each person’s best-fit foods, we are stacking the deck back in their favor” she says.

Along with the coaching and admin staff that includes Kayla McGinnis, Penney Partlow and Sharon Hamilton, clients check in daily via text or an app tracking progress, while creating long term lifestyle habits. What makes this program so special is their solid maintenance plan designed to prevent weight gain.

In addition to accountability coaching, Carrie also added red light therapy. This technology includes the highest strength output and advanced wavelength spectrums providing superior results from increasing fat loss results to reducing inflammation. “Wavelengths penetrate deep into the skin, activate cellular energy and produce fat loss enhancing results for the individual,” she says.

BEFORE
AFTER Carrie's Weight and Wellness Coaching: Although she hid it well, Carrie’s Weight and Wellness Coaching client Jan Pawlak weighed as much as 206 pounds on her tiny frame. Today, she’s 70 pounds lighter, a svelte size 2 and has loads of energy.

“Just Stop Eating Jelly Doughnuts”
That’s the sage advice Jan Pawlak received from her doctor several years ago when she asked what she could do to lose weight. If it were only that simple.

“I had peaked at a number I can’t even imagine now, 206 pounds,” recalls Jan, who is now a svelte size 2. “I’ve been through it all, WeightWatchers, Jenny Craig, keto diet, you name it. The visceral fat surrounding my organs was dangerously high and no doctor had ever explained to me what that even was.”

Since her initial consultation with Carrie on December 1, 2022, Jan has lost more than 70 pounds, and, most importantly, kept it off.

“I believe having a hysterectomy at age 32 set me up for hormonal imbalance that caused the weight gain,” she says. “I was working out six days a week and not seeing any results.”

When Carrie performed one of her diagnostic scans on Jan, her metabolic age came up as 90 (she’s only 59).

“I was exhausted and having joint pain,” she says. “Now, I have loads of energy and love to play with my 1-year-old granddaughter Sadie Lynn. I look forward to a future of being at my healthiest thanks to Carrie.”
