It’s winter in Northeast Ohio. As sturdy Ohioans, we know winter as the time of year we all live in fear of our furnaces breaking down. A New Image Heating & Cooling has been installing and servicing HVAC systems in Northeast Ohio for more than 30 years, with a goal of relieving that fear for their customers—no matter what the Ohio winter weather brings.

“A New Image Heating & Cooling was started 32 years ago out of our founder’s garage in University Heights,” sales manager Bill Jubell says. “He was a union sheet metal worker who saw a need for HVAC work in the community, so he started installing furnaces and AC systems with just four employees. He chose the name to represent what he wanted this company to be—a new kind of HVAC company that put customer service, quality products and highly trained technicians at the forefront of the business.”

Bill explains that an HVAC company in Northeast Ohio has two busy seasons—summer and winter. These are the times of year putting the most stress on our HVAC systems, and when they require the most attention.

“This equipment is expensive and needs to be cared for,” Bill says. “Proper maintenance is the best way to avoid costly repairs and replacements.”

There’s never a good time for a breakdown, but it always seems to happen at the worst possible time.

“It’s always an emergency when the furnace goes out in winter,” service manager Josh Hunter says. “We’re here for you 24/7 to handle it. Whether you have a furnace or a boiler system, our technicians are trained to handle anything and offer options for repairs and replacements, if necessary.”

Training plays a critical role in the customer service offered at A New Image, and it’s not all focused on equipment and repairs.

A New Image Heating & Cooling teaches its techs how to ask the right questions, listen to customer answers, and then provide the options and information that allow them to make an informed decision.

“We spend a lot of time working with technicians on soft skills along with their product knowledge and technical expertise,” Josh says. “We understand and appreciate the importance of being inside your home, and we take that very seriously. We want our techs to listen to your needs and expectations. What we think you need isn’t important. We teach our techs how to ask the right questions, listen to your answers, and then provide the options and information that allow you to make an informed decision.”

A New Image, as envisioned all those years ago, aims to be a different kind of HVAC company. It wants to form a relationship with customers and be the first call when the heat goes out on a cold winter night.

“We educate our customers on basic maintenance so they can avoid breakdowns as much as possible,” Josh says. “But let’s face it, we live in Ohio where it gets very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. We’re hard on our HVAC systems. We’re here to make things easier for you, keep you ahead of any issues, and be the first one at your home when there’s a problem.”
