Van’s Auto Service & Tire Pros is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Northeast Ohio. It’s one of those businesses that took a family-owned, 30-plus-year legacy and all the dedication and hard work that entails and applied those qualities right here. With 14 locations across the area, it looks like they’re doing something right.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years and our first store in Wadsworth has grown into 14 stores across Northeast Ohio,” general manager Zack McMurray says. “Fast growth always presents its challenges, but we’ve done it by sticking to that small-shop mentality. We make decisions as if we were still that one small shop, then implement those decisions across all our stores. It’s an approach that’s worked well for us.”

“Antonio’s visited each of our locations during the month to deliver delicious food and help us thank our customers for their loyalty,” Zack says. “It takes a lot of effort to deliver top-notch service and provide a good work environment and culture for our staff. We do that by listening to everyone’s needs and working together to offer the best.”

Zack says that having Van’s kind of success certainly doesn’t mean they know it all. They are always looking for ways to improve quality and create a better customer experience. Everyone works as a team toward those common goals.

Speaking of team players, Van’s is working again this year with perhaps the ultimate team player, Nick Chubb, who was chosen by Van’s for his work ethic, his humility and dependability, the same qualities that Van’s strives for in business.

“This is our third year working with Nick and we couldn’t have picked a better spokesperson,” Zack says. “Nick puts his head down, works hard and strives to be the best. And he’s a genuinely good person. When you try to be a good human being and positive influence in society, those tenets guide your decisions. That’s where it all starts with Nick, and with Van’s.”

“We had a lot of excitement around “Nick Chubb Mondays” for the past two years, where we provided a discount based upon the number of yards Nick had the previous game,” Zack says. “Although we’ve had to switch gears, we still wanted to support Cleveland fans, so we’re offering discounts based on the team’s performance from the previous game.”

Customers get a full copy of the inspection along with explanations and photos right on their phone.”
