Serving Northeast Ohio, Two Men and a Truck has been moving Cleveland forward for the past 30+ years. The company started with one truck and has since expanded to become one of the largest moving companies in the state, completing more than 7,000 moves each year.

According to Marketing & Recruiting Manager Amy O’Brien, the family-owned and operated company specializes in mostly residential and local moves, but also will move people longer distances—down to northern Florida, all over the East Coast and west to the Mississippi River—as well as do commercial moves.

“We understand that moving can be an overwhelming prospect,” she says. “We take extra care to lessen the stress. In addition to moving services, we also offer packing services and storage. We pack things into crates, which are stored in climate-controlled units.”

The estimation process is simple. “Through Facetime or Zoom, we virtually walk through each room in a customer’s home and then provide an itemized estimate for the move. Our system calculates the weight of the items to be moved, then customers put down a payment to reserve the move date.”

When it comes to pricing, Amy says they usually come in somewhere in the middle compared to other movers on most jobs.

“We are priced on value. This is a professional service where you want the best-trained movers taking care of your things, making sure they get to where they need to be in the same condition they left in,” she adds. “Also, moving can be strenuous, back-breaking work. Our seasoned, full-time employees work with specialized moving equipment. They operate and maneuver with extreme efficiency.”

As a core value, Two Men and a Truck is heavily involved in the community, serving as a committee member for events at the local chambers of commerce.
