This month we’re kicking off a 12-week program. Why 12? Well, we’ve found this is the sweet spot in a best-case training paradigm. At 12 weeks, the body has become properly adapted to the movements, weight loss in terms of fat loss has begun, and nutritional coaching has boosted the way the body uses food as fuel after workouts.

Our individualized workouts provide functional strength training, with specialized equipment like sleds, medicine balls, TRX resistance bands, kettle bells, stationary bikes and battle ropes.

In addition to seeing strength gains and fat loss, our members say after 12 weeks in the program they’re sleeping better, too, which isn’t a surprise. Research has shown that physical activity can be as effective as prescription sleep meds. Exercise promotes better quality sleep, as well as how long it takes you to fall asleep—two things that cause a cascade effect on your health and well-being.

By counseling our members about their nutrition, we also coach them to make healthy swaps so they can savor their meals without guilt. Before you overindulge on holiday favorites over Thanksgiving, go to our Facebook page to find a recipe for the Ultimate Pumpkin Protein Smoothie. It’s loaded with antioxidant-rich beta carotene, vitamins and minerals, and the protein powder lends the perfect recovery kick for post workouts.
