Never one to rest on her laurels, top-producing real estate agent Amy Hoes has recently taken her tenacious team—which is in the top ½% of all agent teams in the country according to RealTrends rankings—to eXp Realty.

“After 14 years in the local real estate industry, this is a big move,” she says. “I am someone who’s always looking forward, seeking out the organizations that are evolving, expanding and keeping their eye on the future to stay ahead of the curve. As the fastest growing real estate company in the world, eXp Realty checks that box and more.”

Along with her husband, Kurt, who helps with her numbers and reports, Amy researched the industry to see which company was the most tech-forward and savvy when it comes to emerging trends.

“We are always monitoring what’s going on in other parts of the country, places like California and Seattle and the East Coast,” she explains. “We wouldn’t have gotten as far as we have if we didn’t seek to be at the leading edge. We were the first in our area to offer authorized drone photography and 3D tours, as well as to partner with Zillow.”

She says they have consistently outproduced their competition through shrewd marketing systems and big spending, averaging $350,000 or more on advertising each year to put a home in front of the right potential buyers.

What the Move Means to Clients
“As our team, and eventually our territory, will expand, that can put a strain on things like communication, which is crucial for a Realtor,” she says. “eXp Realty has all the tech and tools in place for us to tap into to facilitate a successful relationship with clients. Automated intelligence is the way of the future, making for a more streamlined, less traditional type of brokerage that ultimately benefits the client. Inquiries are instantly responded to.”

And it comes just in time. With a shortage of homes on the market, competition is heating up this summer. Amy says she’s seeing routine multiple offers and even cash offers for homes.

In Expansion Mode
Plans are in the works to expand north to Cleveland and south to Columbus, and Amy is interviewing top agents to fill those roles.

“We want to grow intelligently, without sacrificing service, yet still offer our agents the best opportunities and career path,” she says.

Her current team is stacked with industry veterans and seasoned professionals who are local, including Nicole Benetto, Ellen Chaney, Cathy Dress, Heather Kelps, Sara Deiters and Jessica Omerza.

“We keep communication streamlined and simple, with one point of contact for a more stress-free experience,” she says. “Customer service is the engine that drives us, and we take pride in highly personalized operations.”

“What I love about this team is that we are hyper-local and family-centric,” says Amy. “People know us as more than real estate agents. We are moms and wives, super involved in the schools and the community. All of us live in Medina County.”

Amy and Kurt have always been charitable supporters of Medina’s schools and sports teams. Although their daughter Atalie has graduated from Medina HS and is now a student at Bowling Green State University, son Bryan is an MHS freshman.
