This mobile pet grooming service offers five-star treatment

For the ultimate convenience—and pampering—Bubbles-N-Biscuits Mobile Pet Grooming pulls up to your home in an ultramodern van converted into a grooming salon, bringing the suds to you so your furry friend never has to leave its home.

“We are a business of convenience,” says owner Kristi Holzman, who grew up with a toy poodle and now has a Boykin spaniel and a miniature schnauzer at home.

“Clients love that they don’t have to vacuum the hair from their car like they do after driving their pet to the groomers. And the pets love that they don’t have to leave home only to spend hours in a cage at the grooming shop. There is less anxiety when we come to them.”

In business since 2006, the company is growing and has just added its fourth van to accommodate all of its clients. The units, which are self-contained with their own water supply and electricity, have a Super Sudser Luxury Massage system for bathing and a hydraulic table. What you will not find are any cages. “We don’t use cage dryers, as we hand dry all pets with high velocity dryers,” says Kristi, noting all the vans are equipped with video cameras.

Based in Medina, the mobile pet groomers travel to Cuyahoga, Lorain, Summit and Medina Counties to bring pet grooming to your front door. Depending on the breed, the grooming takes one to two hours and includes a bath, clip and nail trim.

“All our groomers are trained in AKC-specified breed trims or we can also do custom trims to your liking,” says Kristi. “We come to your home at your convenience with a fully equipped van, like a salon on wheels.”

Kristi learned her craft from a world-renowned groomer and passed along her skills to her daughter and three other groomers who are all animal lovers.

“We can handle any pet from a small toy breed to large dog breeds up to 75 pounds,” notes Kristi. “We also groom lots of cats because nobody wants to bring their cat to a grooming shop filled with barking dogs. And, on occasion, we also will bathe rabbits, guinea pigs and other pets.”
