The area’s newest maintenance-free neighborhood—The Village at Hinckley Oaks— features 117 luxury apartment homes perfectly suited to active lifestyles.
Community Manager Megan Thacker explains her company did extensive research on the best places to settle its neighborhood and that Hinckley was a perfect fit.
“This area is rural and charming, yet very convenient to nearby amenities and the highway,” she says. “We’ve rented to lots of people who are snowbirds, or travel for work and enjoy the maintenance-free lifestyle we afford them. They’ll never have to worry about lawn work or shoveling sidewalks again. Also, there’s a maintenance person on staff to handle any issues that may arise while the person is out of town.”
There are eight floor plans to choose from, all are two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes ranging in size from 1,293 to 1,564 square feet.
Meet the New Leasing Manager
With an extensive background in sales, leasing agent Tanisha McCombs started working at The Village at Hinckley Oaks this summer.
“I’m fresh to this industry and must say it’s a pleasure to be to be doing something I truly believe in,” she says. “Seeing these homes built from the ground up and the welcoming neighborhood we have become is rewarding.”

“Outside of business hours, all people need to do is schedule a tour on our site and we will allow them to enter a model for a self-guided tour 24/7,” she explains. “And, of course, I’m happy and available to give tours during the weekdays.”
The Village neighborhood is a majority senior apartment community. Eighty percent of residences must be occupied by at least one person who is 55 and older and the remaining 20 percent of home renters can be younger than 55.
“People feel secure and welcomed as part of the community here,” says Tanisha. “We’re seeing everything from retirees to young families enjoying the outdoor amenities, loads of greenspace, an outdoor kitchen, pickleball courts and firepits. They enjoy easy access to nearby highways, as well as sending their kids to the outstanding Brunswick schools.”
