The power of accountability
By Kyle Hotz, ACE Owner, Founder; Higher Heights Fitness
I’m a big believer in the old saying, your habits make you healthy.
Now that the kids are going back to school and we’re getting back to a more ordered schedule, it’s a good time to check in with yourself and see how your habits are serving you.
To form a habit and sustain it in the long run, it needs to be convenient and enjoyable.
I feel that the power of accountability and consistency are two of the reasons most of our clients make us a long-term habit and stay with us for years.
We encourage members to book standing training appointments with us weeks out. It’s a positive habit to plan your life around your training and not your training around your life. We make scheduling sessions easy, either online or shoot us a text. And we make it a point to be flexible, offering hours from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
When members get here, they know a trainer will be waiting for them and that the focus of the one-on-one training will be on their unique goals. I’m proud of the team I’ve put together. They’re great trainers and great people. They care about the members and have a stake in their fitness level. Every six to eight weeks of training we take a body composition analysis to make sure progress is being made. So, members get a sense they’re not doing this alone.
