Cassandra Merriman opened the new Robeks in Willoughby in late March, bringing Robeks’ passion for serving creatively crafted flavor combinations to help you start, end, or invigorate your day the right way.
“We’re so excited to be here and bring Robeks’ spark and energy to this community,” says Cassandra. “Robeks opened its first store in Westchester, California in 1996 with the goal of helping people maintain their healthy lifestyle or making their current lifestyle a little better.”
Cassandra says Robeks’ founders saw a need for offering convenient, nutritious snack and meal options in that “fast-food” style, and their goal was to make eating a healthy meal just as quick and easy as other fast-food options.
What Robeks began to see was that not only were their juices and smoothies easy, but they were developing devoted fans due to their one-of-a-kind recipes featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, which customers couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, Robeks has 86 stores nationwide with 12 in Northeast Ohio, and that number is climbing.
“I think it’s the fresh ingredients and the combinations we offer that set us apart,” says Cassandra. “We have 32 smoothies on the menu, most with less sugar than you’ll find at other places because of those fresh ingredients and unique combinations of fruits, vegetables and those extras like wheatgrass, protein, vitamins and more for a flavor, energy and healthy boost.”
Robeks prides itself on offering creative combinations of ingredients in everything from smoothies and juices to toasts and bowls.
“We were creating mixes of things that no one else had thought of back in the ’90s and that continues today,” says Cassandra. “That combination of great taste, unique recipes and innovative ingredients is the Robeks recipe for success.”
For example, the P-Nut Power Plus, with a multi-vitamin and whey protein, or the Nuts About Protein, which includes coffee, peanut butter and raw honey along with a multi-vitamin and 15 grams of whey protein, will keep you satisfied and at peak performance throughout your day.
