The Helicopter Daughter features the Happy Everything line

Karen Hadden, owner of The Helicopter Daughter in Mentor, fills her shop with items that soothe, delight, pamper and humor her customers—offering them just what they need to lift spirits and lower stress. Karen opened The Helicopter Daughter after being a caregiver to her own parents took a toll on her both mentally and physically.

“I opened this shop and filled it with items in every category from books and games to teas, jewelry, candles, lotions and more to help people relax and even have a laugh,” says Karen.

Karen is always on the hunt for unique items and recently added the Happy Everything line, exclusive to Lake County. Happy Everything is the original line of home decor items with interchangeable additions that make decorating your home for every occasion easy and fun.

“Happy Everything offers a broad range of vibrant designs, and they are always updating the fun and colorful additions,” says Karen. “The line has expanded beyond serving pieces to include vases, soap dispensers, pantry jars, towel holders, calendars and planners. They make great gifts.”

Karen suggests starting with a base item like a tray or vase along with an addition, then add to your collection or that of a friend for the seasons, birthdays, holidays and special occasions.

“It’s an inexpensive way to seasonally update your home,” says Karen. “Right now, the spring- and Easter-themed additions will give your décor, and your mood, a lift.”
