The future of healthcare

There is so much change that happens in the healthcare and health insurance industries, it pays to have someone who keeps current with these matters and offers guidance.

With a new President in place, many people are wondering about the future of the Affordable Care Act. As of this writing, nothing has changed and we are still functioning under the guidelines as they were written. In all likelihood, however, change will happen. I’d like to invite you to get vocal now about how you’d like to see those changes take shape.

HealthMarkets has created a website designed to encourage people to provide input into how the future of our health care system should look. You’ll find it at OurCareBill.org.

The first tab at the top of the page invites you to build your own bill. It’s an easy way to put your thoughts into words. Simply click through the bill template, choose your preferences and then send.

Healthcare has been one of the most talked about and debated issues in history. This is one way to ensure your voice resonates with our leadership. Once tabulated, HealthMarkets will send the data to our congressional leadership so they can better understand not only how Americans feel about the future of healthcare, but also how Ohioans feel about it.

I have people visit my office all of the time to ask how the future of health care will affect them. If you have questions, I encourage you to call me or stop by. There is so much change that happens in the healthcare and health insurance industries, it pays to have someone who keeps current with these matters and offers guidance. As always, there is no cost for my service.
