The holidays are a time for family and friends, and at Danbury Senior Living the residents are surrounded by both.

“Enjoy the warmth of the season at Danbury,” says Cheryl McCallum, sales and marketing director at Danbury Senior Living in Broadview Heights.

“From hosting lunch in your dining room, to watching the birds on the back patio, to taking trips to nearby shops and restaurants, Danbury will help you live the life you want.”

The staff plans special events year-round and invites residents’ families to social gatherings. This month, Danbury is hosting indoor trick-or-treating and a costume contest for its residents’ grandkids and staff member’s children. And next month, a decked-out, holiday-themed brunch for families is scheduled between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“From fall hayrides and apple picking to regular family visits, the list of activities here is endless,” comments Cheryl. “And during the holidays, an abundance of holiday cheer lives here.”

Situated in a park-like setting overlooking fields and a pond, Danbury is a short stroll to the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center and is within close proximity to shopping and dining. The 101 nicely furnished apartments flank a restaurant, pub and bistro, library, barber and beauty shop, game room and a theater—offering residents everything they need on site. Plus, residents enjoy chef-prepared meals, housekeeping and 24-hour health care services.

“We encourage family to stop by on the way home from work to have dinner or a cup of coffee,” says Cheryl. “We also try to make it fun for the grandkids to come visit and play in the game room, watch a movie in the theater and have places to run around.”

“At Danbury, there is no time to be lonely in the winter when the sun goes down early because we have a jam-packed calendar of events,” adds Cheryl. “You are never alone here, whether visiting with family members or socializing with other residents.”

“If you want to get a feel for our community, like us on Facebook to see photos of past events and check out upcoming activities, or schedule a personalized tour,” she says.
