While it may be teetering toward sweltering temperatures outdoors, S&S Heating, Cooling & Sheet Metal can keep your home cool and comfortable.
With July being the hottest month in Northeast Ohio, averaging 83 degrees, and August not far behind, at 81 degrees, S&S is busy installing new air conditioners and tuning up older ones to make sure they are running at peak efficiency.

“We sell and install leading brands such as Trane,” notes Mark. “We also can build our own ductwork through our sheet metal fabrication facility in Hinckley, or with our mobile truck shop. This comes in handy if we need to reroute a duct to adjust the level of comfort in a room.”
While many homeowners are trying to stay cool right now, it is not too early to gear up for the heating season.
“It seems like in Northeast Ohio we only have two seasons—summer and winter—so there is not much time in between to get prepared for the temperature swing,” says Mark.
“Everyone waits until it gets cold outside to start thinking about their furnaces, but summer is the ideal time to start shopping for a new furnace if you want to upgrade. We have the best deals available now, before everyone turns on their furnace on that first cold day.”

“Homes are being built tighter than ever, and though that’s great for keeping heated or cooled air within the home, it also seals in allergens, such as dust mites in the carpeting, and mold,” Mark explains.

This way we often can solve a problem remotely so you don’t need to pay for a service call.”
In addition to controlling your heating and cooling units, the Nexia app can control more than 400 smart home products, including lighting, door locks, security cameras and sprinkler systems.
“This product reads the outdoor temperature and will go within one degree of your desired comfort level in one percent increments,” he says.
“We realize there are thousands of heating and cooling companies that do the same thing we do, so we try to differentiate ourselves by doing the same thing better,” he comments.
