When Chad Howman founded Bath R Us last year, he saw himself more in the dream-fulfillment business than the home remodeling business. Since then, he’s helped hundreds of homeowners get the bathrooms of their dreams—luxurious, high-end looks at affordable prices with ultra-long-lasting finishes. Turning the Home Remodeling Model Upside-Down
“Most home renovators think of the bathroom as an afterthought,” he says. “They go after the bigger jobs like kitchens and whole home renovations first. We, on the other hand, feel the bathroom deserves the highest consideration. It’s the room people spend lots of time in and it should feel like an oasis, a sanctuary, an inviting place to relax and de-stress.”
Before he started the fast-growing company, Chad researched the industry and discovered a manufacturer that makes high-tech polymer showers that are as gorgeous as they are durable.
One trip to the showroom and you’ll find glamorous showers that look like high-end granite, marble, quartz and subway tiles, to suit any taste, classic to contemporary. The panels are 100% waterproof, man-made and are easy to clean, as there are very few seams, which are fused by caulk, not grout. They can even install a slab on the shower ceiling and sink lights into it for a strikingly modern effect.

Bringing Bathrooms Into the Here and Now
The bathroom featured on the previous page is a good example of what can be achieved with a Bath R Us renovation. The Brady family in Wadsworth had an upstairs bathroom that featured standard builder’s grade materials circa 1990.
Chad says they replaced an old fiberglass single-unit shower with a new tub and chic surround in River Rock that mimics the look of granite.
“We basically brought the bathroom into this century,” says Chad. “Luxury vinyl plank flooring and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures completed the rustic look.”
