The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting our health beyond the disease itself. Social distancing, self-quarantining, and stay-at-home orders have caused many of us to become more sedentary, gain extra pounds, and avoid seeing medical professionals for both routine exams and when we’re experiencing major symptoms.

And working from home—where there are no stairwells and long hallways present in many office buildings—forces us to sit without moving, which can contribute to leg swelling, numbness, blood clots and other serious circulatory issues.

More than a “screening,” this evaluation will include time with me, the doctor, to answer your questions and discuss your health concerns one-on-one, while practicing Covid-19 safety protocols. Patients who opt for a full consultation instead (which is covered by insurance) will receive a free pair of compression stockings.
