Sample, sip and stay awhile at the new Antonio’s Brew Wall

The LoSchiavo family name has been well known in the restaurant business in Northeast Ohio for 55 years. With 16 Antonio’s Pizza locations scattered throughout the area, that’s a lot of pizza and a lot of generations working together and steering this family business into the future.
Vince LoSchiavo has been partners with his brother, Anthony, and his father, Fred, for more than 20 of those 55 years. Vince admits that although pizza is his passion, he was intrigued when a friend told him about a new technology being utilized in some California restaurants.
“I went out there to do the research on the technology, loved the concept for Northeast Ohio, then brought it back here and opened the first Antonio’s Brew Wall in Copley,” Vince says. “Brew Wall has been so successful that we opened a second location in a brand new, beautiful building in Broadview Heights this month.”
The concept behind Antonio’s Brew Wall is a walk-up, self-serve tap wall of mainly beers but also ciders, wines and even a variety of liquors—all readily available to patrons with no waiting.
“At Brew Wall, you simply open a tab, you’re not loading a card,” Vince says. “When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a host and once your tab is opened with a credit or debit card, a fob or wristband is attached to your tab and you’re free to pour from any one of the 54 taps on the wall.”
Vince says one of the best features is the ability to pour as little as half an ounce if you’d like just a taste before committing to, and paying for, a full beer. And Brew Wall focuses on local and craft beers. No Miller or Bud here.
“There’s nothing worse than ordering a beer you’ve never had, and you’re stuck with it if you don’t like it,” Vince says. “We’ve solved that problem. You can taste as many as you’d like. No more paying for a full drink you don’t like.”
And tasting is a big part of the fun at Brew Wall. Everyone likes to try different things, especially beer lovers. The beer wall is a gathering place for everyone who visits. Let the Brew Wall’s “tapologist” introduce you to everything available on the wall and educate you about the nuances of each selection, or just pour yourself an ice-cold beer and relax with family and friends.
Vince says the wall becomes the bar at Brew Wall. It’s the gathering place where people can share their knowledge, meet new friends and bond over a beer. It’s the new corner bar where everyone is welcome.
“We have taken everyone into consideration at Brew Wall,” Vince says. “If beer isn’t your thing, we offer ciders, wines at the proper temperatures, liquors and even a few craft cocktails like a margarita all on the wall. It’s a fun atmosphere with a hip, cool and modern vibe that caters to everyone, beer lover or not.”
And Antonio’s Brew Wall wouldn’t be a LoSchiavo family restaurant without great food. You’ll find all of Antonio’s favorites, including the special salad, different style pizzas, burgers, tacos and much more.
“Everything you’ve come to expect from a LoSchiavo restaurant is what you’ll find at Brew Wall,” Vince says. “Food is our passion, and we have built this business on providing a place for families and friends to gather around a table, share a great meal and create lasting memories. Brew Wall is that place.”
The LoSchiavo family is always looking for ways to appeal to customer tastes, whether it’s beer or pizza.
“I have friends from Brooklyn who loved our pizza but also loved to tell me it wasn’t the same as New York pizza,” Vince says. “So, we added brick oven-style New York pizza at the Brew Wall. It’s cooked on a stone with mozzarella cheese instead of provolone with a thin crust you can fold just like a New York slice. We aim to please.”
Food, atmosphere and service. Vince says these are the three tenets of all the LoSchiavo family restaurants. The self-serve wall allows the Brew Wall servers to concentrate on getting the food out even faster.
“We’re excited to be the pioneers of this brew wall technology here in Ohio,” Vince says. “The concept just makes a lot of sense for our customers. Beer lovers are enjoying the opportunity to discover something new and still enjoy great food in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. And beer lover or not, Brew Wall has it all.”
Antonio’s Brew Wall is now open at 1350 West Royalton Rd. in Broadview Heights. For more information check the website BrewWall.com.
