Pay thousands less to redefine any room of the house, with high-quality cabinets from Northeast Factory Direct

Most kitchen cabinet stores offer “upgrades,” like all-wood construction and soft-close doors and drawers.

You might more accurately think of them as “up-sells.”

All-wood construction is just one example.

“We don’t sell particleboard cabinets like you’ll see on the shelves of home improvement retailers,” he says. “We’re offering solid, well-built cabinets at particleboard prices. Our cabinets also feature solid maple dovetailed drawer construction and soft-close doors and drawers on full-extension, under mounted glides that are made of steel—not plastic. Those features are upgrades on some very popular national brands at other stores.”

And, Angelo adds, unlike some national, web-based vendors, assembly is never required for NEFD cabinets.

“Our cabinets arrive conveniently ready to install,” he says.

NEFD is able to offer better quality cabinets at lower prices because of the high-volume discounts it negotiates with manufacturers.

“We buy the most popular merchandise in bulk and pass the savings along to our customers,” Angelo says. “That’s been our strategy since Alex [Nemet, the owner] started the company in his garage.”

Complementing its significant price advantage, NEFD adds superior service and installation to the experience, Angelo promises.

Mudrooms have become an increasingly popular application for NEFD’s rugged, all-wood cabinets, he reveals.

“A mudroom is like a landing zone for when you come in the house,” he suggests. “You’ll have a bench seat where you can sit down and put your shoes on. You can have a drawer underneath for storage and a tall hutch with hooks to hang up jackets. You can have some open shelving or closed cabinets on the walls for more storage, and we can dress it up with lighted glass cabinets at the top. It may look so fancy you may not want to call it a mudroom.”
