What does Opening Day mean to you? Franks at the ballpark? That first crack of the bat? A “W” on the board at the end of the day for the home team?

At Window Depot of Cleveland, the term has an entirely different connotation. To the folks who work here, it means that first spring day when you open your windows to welcome in the sunshine and fresh air you haven’t enjoyed in so long.

But oftentimes the opening is spoiled by what else you notice—windows and screens that haven’t weathered winter well.

If it’s time to replace, as you’re shopping around for the best price, selection and quality, be sure to put locally owned Window Depot atop your short list.

Working with industry gold-standard lines like Andersen and Pella, as well as a locally manufactured, Amish-made brand out of Sugarcreek called ProVia, the team at Window Depot carries a wide variety of colors, shapes and styles of windows and doors, including entry doors, sliding glass patio doors and exterior storm doors.

Harnessing Buying Power
“Partnering with a national industry leader with collective buying power allows us to bring the best selection and lower prices to our clients, while having control over the craftsmanship behind every job,” says owner Tony Hoty.

Working with industry gold-standard lines like Andersen and Pella, as well as a locally manufactured, Amish-made brand out of Sugarcreek called ProVia, the company carries a wide variety of colors, shapes and styles of windows and doors, including entry doors, sliding glass patio doors and exterior storm doors.

“We also offer entry doors with pet accessibility,” he adds. “Perfect for pets who have to go out often, like puppies or senior dogs or cats, this is a convenient option, making owners’ lives much easier.”

Backing up their work is also a core value, and the company offers comprehensive lifetime home warranties that are non-prorated and transferrable to the next homeowner.

Meet Sweet CMO Daphne
Forging meaningful relationships is foundational to the culture at Window Depot.

Customers rave about their experiences with the technicians and installers. Oftentimes the first employee they meet is Chief Morale Officer Daphne, the sweetheart rescue dog that often roams the showroom floor.

“Ask anyone who owns a rescue dog and they’ll tell you the dog is the one who did the rescuing,” says Tony. “Daphne stole our hearts from the get-go. It was an easy decision to start taking her to work. We have customers who come in just to see her and are disappointed if she’s not here.”

Especially for the employees who work long hours and always give their all, Tony considers it a perk of the jobsite to have Daphne around.

“I’m a believer in the old adage that happy cows make the best milk,” he says. “In short, Daphne brings out the best in everyone she meets. Our showroom is a casual, laid-back atmosphere that feels like home. We want people to come in and stay awhile, take their time touching and seeing the products.”

Tony and his staff have fun with adorable signage around the building featuring “Daphne’s Rules” for everything from warehouse safety to breakroom cleanliness. Who would ever break any of this darling pup’s recommendations?
