Owner Keith Orndoff opened the first Vital Flooring & Renovations in Eastlake with his business partner, Daniel (Danny) Johnson. Keith and Danny have years of experience in flooring, construction and home improvement. They decided to take what they’ve learned, open their own business, and do things the only way they know how, by focusing on the customer.
“Danny and I are lifelong friends, like family, actually. We knew that by combining our strengths we would complement each other in business,” Keith says. “Our expertise and passion for pleasing clients make Vital Flooring & Renovations unique. Our customers appreciate our dedication and can feel the difference here. So much so that we opened an additional location in Aurora last December.”
Keith and Danny are thrilled to now serve Aurora and surrounding communities by offering many different lines of hard surface flooring, carpet and tile for every style and budget along with construction services.
“That’s what makes us unique,” Keith says. “We’re here to give you ideas, show you what’s available in your price range and, most importantly, listen to your needs. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we understand choosing flooring for your home can be overwhelming. We are here to make the process easier and better. With lines like Shaw, Mohawk, Dahl, Floorté, Daltile, Marquis, COREtec and so many more, Vital Flooring & Renovations carries several products in-stock so orders can be filled quickly, the same day in some cases, and projects can be completed within days of an order. 
“In the past, we’ve seen people waiting months to get a job done,” Keith says. “That’s frustrating for everyone. Danny and I knew that when we had our own business, we would carry a lot of popular inventory in stock so people wouldn’t have to wait. And, by the way, delivery is always free.”
Since Keith and Danny don’t like to say no to their clients, they also offer hardwood floor refinishing, home improvement services and just about anything else you may need in your home.
“We know how hard it can be to find high-quality home construction and improvement companies willing to do the smaller jobs,” Keith says. “Our crew is highly skilled in not just flooring installation projects, but also plumbing and electrical work and general handyman services. This allows us to do kitchen and bath renovations, complete home additions and even flood repair work. We have the skills and we’ll put them to work for you.”
And I know firsthand all that Vital Flooring & Renovations can do. They installed my new laundry room flooring. They also offered to install the new sink, plumbing and lighting fixtures, saving me time and money.
