Join the Team at Proactive Behavior Services and get paid to learn

The team at Proactive Behavior Services is dedicated to providing the best programming and services for the children and families they work with, based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help individuals reach their full potential.

“We also provide experience and support to people interested in becoming an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or graduate students working toward their BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst),” Leah Gongola, Ph.D., BCBA-D, COBA, owner and director, says. “You are paired with established staff members to learn the nuances of client interaction and much more.”

Individuals working toward degrees and accreditations in this field must gain experience to fulfill certain requirements.

“Graduate students working toward their BCBA must complete 2,000 hours of supervised work and are charged for these hours,” Dr. Gongola says. “We offer this training for free.”

Training focuses on how the team captures opportunities to find the positives in people and highlight those positives in both clients and team members.

Proactive has an organizational behavior management system to reinforce team members when they demonstrate support and positivity to colleagues. Staff members award points to each other for positive behaviors. Dr. Gongola says, “Staff members bank their points then cash them in for swag, gift cards and more from the company store.”

“We strive to keep things positive and lean on each other when things are difficult,” Dr. Gongola says. “We work together to create a positive place where both clients and staff like coming to learn, laugh and find success together.”
