Indulge in a gastronomic trip to Epcot
By Jackie Klemenc, Disney Specialty Travel Agent
Care for a Parisian croissant in the morning, Mexican street tacos for lunch and Ramen noodles from Kyoto for dinner? Take your taste buds on a fantastic global-trotting journey at Walt Disney World’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival set for mid-July to late November. We’re planning a special getaway for foodies in our area, Friday through Tuesday, October 13-17, 2023.
Spanning six continents throughout colorful booths in the World Showcase pavilions, the festival celebrates the very best cuisine from Canada to China, Germany to Greece, India to Ireland and everywhere in between. My agency decided to put together a special group trip for adults in our area. I’ve been working with the others in my agency and the plans for the trip are amazing. We’re putting together fun things like scavenger hunts, a resort bar crawl and parties, parties, parties with giveaways galore. People can take part in the group activities as much or as little as they like. They can spend all five days at Epcot or just one or two.
Disney is pulling out all the stops with this festival, like expanding from just wines into beers and specialty cocktails. I hope local foodies take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
