Here’s how to reverse the aging process, with just two, 20-minute workouts a week

Cleveland institution in the arena of fitness studios is opening its doors in Strongsville next month. MaxStrength Fitness has made a name for itself by throwing out the rulebook when it comes to strength training.
“Our demographic research told us that this community is a perfect fit with our core values,” says Jeff Tomaszewski, who founded MSF 16 years ago.
As a former athletic trainer and professor at Case Western Reserve University, he was uniquely qualified to create a science- and research-based formula based on intense 20-minute workouts, twice weekly, on specialized resistance machines. The results have created a legion of fans at the Willoughby and Westlake studios.
“In many ways, we are opposite of most gyms,” says Jeff. “We’re never crowded, and we don’t want to see you more than twice a week. We understand how busy our clients are and have made that a goal—to be an easy, convenient fit. By keeping our studio temps at a pleasantly chilly 60-something degrees, the workouts are no-sweat, so you can train in the morning or on your lunch hour and go right back to work without showering.”
Science-Based Protocols
Jeff’s background in sports medicine, physical therapy and athletic training led him to create his signature muscle-building program.
“Numerous studies have emphasized the link between muscle mass and healthy aging,” he says. “According to a Harvard Medical School study, people typically lose three to five percent of their overall muscle mass each decade after age 30. Less muscle means less strength and mobility, as well as increased risk of falls. That’s why I designed the program around the fastest, most efficient methodology to safely build back muscle.”
Spacing out the workouts to just twice a week allows optimal time for adaptive change to take place, as the muscles rebuild stronger with downtime between sessions.
“Simply put, we work smarter, not longer, to produce life-changing, transformational outcomes,” he says. “Our clients become stronger, gaining muscle mass, flexibility and energy. This is a road map to healthier aging. The impact is profound.”
