Here’s how Cleveland Party Rentals can help you create an event to remember
By Patricia Nugent
Chase Slepak admits it: He loves to party.
“With my wife and two young children and our friends, we throw an awesome party about once a week,” he says, laughing. “When I throw a party, I want to make a statement. I want to provoke shock and awe in people.”
Being an avid entrepreneur who owns several businesses, Chase co-founded Cleveland Party Rentals earlier this year to fill an unmet need: a company that can provide everything for creative, over-the-top parties and events.
“What makes us different from other rental places is supply. We have loads of everything needed for amazing parties. There are not availability issues,” he says. “We’re turnkey and holistic. Other places usually offer just one or two components to a party. You have to go to a tent place, or a table-and-chairs place, etc. With us, it’s one-stop-shopping. All you have to do is make a call and it’s done.”
Whether you’re an individual, company or nonprofit, they rent everything needed for birthday parties, graduation parties, fundraisers or corporate family fun day events. They offer the traditional tents, tables and chairs, but also rent unique things like a mechanical bull, cotton candy and ice cream carts, frozen drink machines, bounce houses, dance floors, dunk tanks, photo booths, obstacle courses and water slides.
“Our approach is simple: We treat your event as if it were our own,” he says. “We alleviate the stress of event coordination, allowing you to savor the moments that truly matter. At the core of our ethos lies transparency. We are dedicated to offering pricing that is free from hidden fees, coupled with a robust cancellation policy.”
“We can do everything from huge events to that neighborhood block party with a movie night or backyard family reunion,” he adds.
The Perfect Grad Party
Chase reports they are in the midst of grad party season, a specialty of theirs. Here are a few tips for planning a killer party your attendees will be talking about for years to come:
• Be open-minded when it comes to the date. Most parties are in May and June, but July and early August might come with fewer scheduling conflicts for those you invite.
• Provide outdoor entertainment. People love games. Cleveland Party Rental can bring a host of wild contests, from giant Jenga to inflatable Twister and digital cornhole. A photo booth with grad-themed props and a karaoke machine also add hype to the party.
• People prefer the outdoors. A tent can weather-protect you and add a festive atmosphere for a crowd. They can rent you the perfect size for your soiree.
• Consider engaging your attendees by handing out “advice cards” for them to offer sage comments for your grad.
Appealing to Nonprofits
Chase sits on the board of several non-profit organizations across the country and is familiar with the set of challenges they face in fundraising.
“I came up with simplified packages geared toward helping them generate necessary funds through easy-to-operate and profitable events like Casino Nights,” he says.
Each year, Chase does a giveaway of a free party for a deserving nonprofit. (Check the company’s Facebook for the most recent giveaway posting.) He also is proud to donate a portion of his proceeds to charities. Last month it was Ronald McDonald Charities.
