Hand-crafted gifts and more

Fall in love with the dizzying variety of arts and crafts vendors represented at Impressive Creations 4 U Gifts and Crafts.

“From wall art to candles, welcome signs, wreaths, ceramics, clothing, jewelry, painted wine glasses, bath bombs and soaps, almost everything on our floor is handmade and one-of-a-kind,” says Connie Simpson, who is a crafter. She opened the shop last July. “Shopping here is an adventure that changes with every visit. We offer unique seasonal décor items and pieces perfect for sports fans, man caves, outdoor gardens, Father’s Day, Avon Lake-centric items like mugs, puzzles, coasters, T-shirts and magnets, as well as for lake houses. We create a lot of custom artwork and home décor, too.”

Connie started with 65 vendors and is now up to 80.

“Foodies appreciate our homemade cookies, chocolates and freeze-dried candy, as well as gift baskets that are either pre-made or customized,” she adds. “Embellished jean jackets are popular, and so are knitted baby blankets. The creativity of our artists is inspiring.”

Impressive Creations 4 U is located at 33382 Walker Road, Suite B, in Avon Lake. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store is accepting new vendors; booth rental rates vary from $15-$150 per month.
