Fall is exciting; the kids are back in school and the hectic summer is over. It’s a good point in the year to take time for you, to focus on your health, and on taking care of yourself.

Right now is the time of year when Northeast Ohio experiences ideal weather. There is a touch of fall in the cool morning air, then the day unfolds into a perfect summer afternoon.

The approaching autumn is just one part of the four seasons, and the beauty of seasonal diversity is one reason why we live here.

But the idea of winter—worrying over how harsh it will be—can often temper our excitement and take the joy out of a beautiful fall.

Instead, refocus. Fall is exciting; the kids are back in school and the hectic summer is over. It’s a good point in the year to take time for you, to focus on your health, and on taking care of yourself.

If you’re considering varicose vein treatments, know that right now is the perfect time to begin your compression stocking requirement. The days are cooler, the extra warmth on your legs is appreciated, and with compression you’ll likely see an immediate improvement of your symptoms, including leg pain, swelling and fatigue.

Plus, varicose veins take time, so if you begin the process now, you’ll have attractive, healthy legs next year, and be able to enjoy the fun, active summer you may have missed out on this year. Start now by giving our office a call if you are suffering from any of the following symptoms:

  • leg pain
  • swelling
  • heaviness
  • fatigue
  • itching or burning
  • inflammation
  • skin discoloration
  • restless legs syndrome.
