Demystifying Medicare
By Mike Felice, HealthMarkets Insurance Agency
As you approach your 65th birthday, you may have noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of mail you’re getting—and the number of phone calls. That’s because people can select their Medicare plan before they turn 65.
But choosing a Medicare plan may not be as simple as checking off a box. Do you go with Part A, Part B, Part C, Part D or Plan F? And what do all those letters mean? Will you be penalized if you don’t sign up within a certain period of time? Will your doctors be included in the plan you select? Will your medications be covered? Is dental and vision included? Should your spouse be on the same plan as you? Can you keep working while on Medicare?
To provide answers to these questions, I’m hosting a series of Medicare 101 seminars designed to provide the clarity you need to make an informed decision about what’s best for you—and your budget.
On the second Tuesday of every month: August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9, and December 14, starting at 10 a.m., at the HealthMarkets offices located at 28881 Lorain Road, I’ll go through the basics of Medicare, and what it covers as well as what it doesn’t. We’ll talk about the differences between all of the plans during these seminars, which are for educational purposes only.
The best part is, there is no cost to attend, and my guidance is free of charge. Please RSVP by calling 440-403-5004. If you can’t make any of the scheduled seminars, feel free to give me a call for a one-on-one.
