If you’re experiencing the symptoms of hemorrhoids, take the time to rule out anything more serious—and get you the relief you deserve.

By now you’re likely familiar with the signs and symptoms of hemorrhoids, but are you aware of the potential dangers of ignoring them?

I’d like to offer two critical reasons why anyone experiencing the burning, pain, itch and bleeding associated with hemorrhoids should consider scheduling an appointment with me right now.

1. The symptoms of hemorrhoids can mimic other things, such as fissures, infections and even anal cancer. There’s a lot of overlap between the symptoms of hemorrhoids and those of anal cancer. Ignoring your symptoms might mean allowing a cancer to grow to the point where it is difficult to cure. Most of the time, though, symptoms really are caused by hemorrhoids, and they can easily be treated in my office.

2. Hemorrhoids have a tendency to get worse over time. If you ignore them before finally deciding to do something about them, there will be significantly more to treat. Some people have hemorrhoids that get worse quickly, others take more time. Either way, they eventually get worse.

I offer two, non-surgical methods to treat hemorrhoids. One reduces the blood flow that feeds the hemorrhoids, improving inflammation and causing them to shrink. The other is better suited to remove larger hemorrhoids.

Both take just a few seconds to do, and since they are performed in an area with no nerve endings they can be administered right in the comfort of my office without anesthesia.

There is virtually no pain, no prep needed, there are no major restrictions, and you don’t have to take time off of work. Our consultations are always free of charge and our procedures are covered by insurance.
