One of the best things you can do to reduce stress in your life is to get organized. “A place for everything and everything in its place” is more than an expression; it’s a recipe for tranquility.
“How you start your day often determines how the day is going to go,” says Dan Krawczonek, owner of Closets by Design. “And knowing where everything is and having it neatly organized in front of you makes the morning routine relaxing and easy.”
Dan and his team have designed and installed thousands of closet systems over the years and they’ve seen everything.
“We don’t design by email,” Dan says. “Our designers come to your home and take the time to listen to understand you and your goals. Then, right there in front of you, we create a design specific to your lifestyle and your space. It’s a personal experience. Then we process everything here in Lakewood. We cut, trim, drill holes, and edge everything to fit your space.”
Included in your design are meticulous measurements. That’s because every floor is not level and every room is not square, even in new construction. “Our designers and installers know how to overcome those issues,” Dan adds.
The Closets by Design cabinetry is made from three-quarter-inch thick melamine, thermally fused on both sides, and comes in 23 different colors.
Although a new walk-in closet is the most popular project, the company also does reach-in closets, garages, home offices, pantries, craft rooms, and more. “We can handle anything that involves a rod or a shelf,” Dan says. “One popular project right now is converting an entire bedroom into a closet. It’s so nice to have your entire wardrobe and all of your accessories neatly organized in one place. When you wake up in the morning you are ready to go. It’s so much more efficient and less stressful than searching around in your closet.”
