Last week, my wife and I brought our outdoor furniture out of the garage and set it up under our “veranda.” That’s the fancy name we give our back porch. I texted a photo of the furniture to my kids with the caption, “Spring is here!”
My son-in-law texted back, “Looks great. Now sanitize it so we can come over.”
He was right. Although we currently don’t allow our kids and grandkids in the house, we do occasionally hang out outside and yell at each other from 10 feet away. But is that even safe? What about the siding, the gate, the deck, the basketball goal, the playset?
