Blue Heron Brewery is taking orders now for its wildly popular Take and Bake Thanksgiving feast

The cost for Blue Heron’s Thanksgiving feast is $110 for a meal for four, or $225 for a meal for 10. After you place your order online, you simply pick up your feast on Wednesday, November 23, between 2 and 7 p.m.

Thanksgiving dinner may be easier than ever this year. It may also be more delicious than ever, but don’t tell Grandma I said so.

That’s because Blue Heron Brewery, for the third year, is taking orders for its Take and Bake Thanksgiving feasts.

“People rave about our fully cooked Thanksgiving dinner, which includes a whole turkey and all the trimmings,” says Ben Erjavec, Blue Heron’s executive chef and co-owner. “Everything is fully cooked and ready to warm up. We take care of all the hard work. All you have to do is order, pick it up the day before Thanksgiving, and warm it all up to enjoy.”

The dinner includes:

• A whole roasted 18- to 20-pound turkey for 10 guests, or a 10- to 12-pound bird for four guests—including natural turkey jus
• Chef Ben’s famous stuffing
• Candied sweet potatoes
• Fresh green beans in lemon butter
• Homemade cranberry relish
• Roasted garlic whipped potatoes
• Blue Heron house salad with aged balsamic and ranch
• Fresh baked dinner rolls and butter
• Pumpkin cinnamon roll
• Wine

“It all comes in disposable pans,” Ben says. “You can serve the meal on your best china or save yourself the hassle of cleaning up by using our pans and disposable dishes. The main thing is you can enjoy the meal with your family without having to worry about cooking or cleaning up.”

The 21-and-older crowd may look forward to ringing in 2023 at Blue Heron’s New Year’s Eve party, featuring live music by Faction.

After you place your order online, you simply pick up your feast on Wednesday, November 23, between 2 to 7 p.m.

“You don’t even have to get out of your car,” Ben says. “Just pull up and we’ll load it up for you.”

Ben suggests ordering early.

“I’ve secured 300 turkeys, but if this year is like the previous two, they’re not going to last long. We always sell out quickly.”

Ben suggests taking home a couple four-packs of Blue Heron’s craft beers to start the holiday season off right.

Mike Piazza, brew master and co-owner, will have his highly anticipated Christmas ale, along with Blue Heron IPA, Hazy Wife-Hazy Life IPA and Yes, Hefe German Hefeweizen canned and ready to enjoy for the holidays—in the brewery, in an outdoor igloo or at your house.

Because the calendar pages flip quickly during the holiday season, it’s not too early to plan for your scrumptious and simple-to-serve Christmas Take and Bake meals, which feature a 6-ounce filet mignon and chicken Florentine per person, accompanied with sides, including:

• Smoked gouda and chive scalloped potatoes
• Shrimp scampi with cheese tortellini and Alfredo
• Roasted garlic and Parmesan broccoli with lemon butter

For dessert, you can enjoy a homemade chocolate peppermint roll.

Back by popular demand, your group can dine in one of the most picturesque landscapes in Medina. On chilly evenings, you can enjoy igloo seating, perfect for a small group of friends or family. Each igloo seats up to eight people and offers full bar and dining service.

And, looking ahead to Christmas Take and Bake meals, they feature items like a 6-ounce filet mignon and chicken Florentine per person, accompanied with a variety of sides.

“We’ll have a five-hour, top-shelf open bar, ice carvings and an elegant dinner,” Ben says. “At midnight we’ll have a champagne toast and a breakfast buffet—all for only $125 per person.”
