Located in the heart of Strongsville, Trivs Restaurant has mastered the art of culinary imagination and attentive service in a welcoming atmosphere, with finely crafted food and wine.

Whether savoring a romantic dinner for two, gathering in the bar or hosting a private special event, this local family-owned eatery is known as a premier place to eat. Though there are many Strongsville restaurants, Trivs’ extensive menu of classical American dishes stands above the others.

In a true celebration of all things Cleveland, our décor features a lovingly curated variety of vintage black-and-white photographic prints.

Owner and namesake Mike Trivisonno, Jr., is here every day, overseeing the eclectic made-from-scratch menu and fine dining operation.

The inventive fare features steaks, seafood, pasta, appetizers, soups and salads. For the ultimate freshness, certified angus beef steaks and seafood are hand-cut and flown in daily. There’s a cut of steak for every palate, from two 4-ounce petite filets to a 12-ounce strip steak to a 12- to 16-ounce ribeye.

Executive Chef Matthew Gillombardo prepares the popular strip steaks three ways: grilled with a salt and pepper demi, coffee-crusted and pan-seared in an espresso cream sauce and breaded and sliced, topped with mushroom gravy, also known as Steak Linda, after Mike’s mother.

Seafood lovers rave about the Seafood Risotto in lobster cream sauce, and pasta fans cannot get enough of the Bocce Ball entrée, which includes a 10-ounce homemade meatball nestled atop linguine in a marinara sauce with shaved parmesan.

On Mondays, diners flock in for CAB Prime Rib, in 12-, 16- and 20-ounce sizes. Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7 to 10 p.m., the bar comes to life with local bands playing a variety of music.

The restaurant caters to all diners. Those following a gluten-free diet can enjoy a slew of dishes, from Short Ribs and Lamb Rack to Scampi.

Happy Hour specials run Monday through Saturday, featuring signature beer, wine and cocktail menu.

The private special event room seats up to 44, and has hosted parties, dinners, showers and corporate events. Patrons can customize menus to fit any mood or theme. For more casual, al fresco flair, the covered and heated patio is open year-round and seats 36.
