Advanced Audiology Concepts - The Hearing Center
“Life sounds great!” —Founder Dr. Jane Kukula
The Hearing Center at Advanced Audiology Concepts provides the latest-tech hearing care—from basic to premium hearing aids, such as those with wireless Bluetooth hearing aids technology—in the personal and friendly atmosphere of a family hearing center promising prompt and courteous service.
Founded by Audiologist Dr. Jane Kukula in 2000, the practice educates patients about hearing loss causes and through hearing tests and diagnostics, fits them with the best hearing solutions for their needs.
The practice is founded on the desire to help others enjoy their lives fully. When Dr. Jane was a child, she experienced her grandmother’s significant hearing loss, and the impact it had on her being present at family functions yet missing out on everything. Just as she wished she could have reconnected her grandmother to the conversation, so too does she make it her mission to connect others back to the world around them and enjoy every moment!
Services include:
• Ear wax removal
• Audiologic Assessment
• Hearing counseling
• Hearing instrument assessment and fitting services
• Telehealth services
Advanced Tele-medicine Technology
The technology of hearing care has advanced rapidly, and since Dr. Jane sits on panels for manufacturers of hearing aids, she’s privy to the development of the latest products, and has even taken a leadership role and offered products not yet on the market to her patients as a test group to provide feedback.
Dr. Jane works only with top manufacturers, such as Phonak, Oticon, Unitron, Lyric, Widex and Resound. Devices today are more discreet than ever before and are better at discerning noises, as well as being able to adjust them via any Bluetooth device.
As a doctor of audiology and a board-certified audiologist, Dr. Jane is also qualified to treat tinnitus, a common condition that triggers perceived ringing in the ears. The staff utilizes a Progressive Tinnitus Management Program that includes assessment and sound therapy.
Unlike more institutional hearing centers, they also work with each individual patient to create a unique pricing structure to bring down the cost of aids and hearing care.
