With its own colorful brand of upscale-casual dining, the Rosewood Grill in Westlake is celebrating its one-year anniversary in style, raring to embark on a festive holiday season.

Chef Shawn Cline, who is a partner in the restaurant, says their attention to delivering a sophisticated menu of memorable dishes, and creating a cosmopolitan atmosphere, is what has made them stand alone against the other restaurants in Westlake.

Earthy, Funky Design Vibe
The decor celebrates natural and sculptural elements—from an elongated table in the Rosewood Room carved from one piece of Indonesian acacia wood to charred Japanese Soku wood lining the ceiling of the Four Season Room—and surrounds them with thoroughly modern elements such as contemporary artwork by local artists.

The charming eatery has earned a reputation as the ideal setting for everything from romantic date nights to girls’ nights out, corporate events, baby and bridal showers, bachelorette parties and even a wedding over the past year.

Fabulous Fare
Steaks and chops are sacred bones here at Rosewood, and in addition to all Certified Angus Beef cuts, they also offer hand-cut, 12-ounce House Spice Rubbed Prime Rib on the weekends and $10 off on Sundays.

“To say this promotion is going gangbusters is an understatement,” says Shawn.“One of the most popular dishes is our Double Cut Pork Chop,” he reveals.

“Perfect for diners who savor the pure meat flavor, we start with a beautiful White Marble Farms chop served with mushroom and goat cheese bread pudding and topped with its natural jus.”

Perfect with the casual, very cool atmosphere is the Happy Hour scene, which unfolds every Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m., and all day Sunday. There are sweet specials on handcrafted cocktails, draft beer and select wines. And the most popular apps are also served at enticing prices, from “Buffaloed” Duck Wings and Old Fashioned Fried Bologna Sandwiches to cheese boards, sliders and more.

With the holidays upon us, Chef Shawn and company invite you to make Rosewood your pre- and post-shopping destination.

“Take a break from the bustle of Crocker Park and relax in front of our roaring fireplace for a spirited cocktail or meal,” he says. “Isn’t gathering with friends and loved ones what the holidays should be about?” (Plus, you don’t have to fight for parking as you would across the street. It’s only steps away.)

In addition to the three Rosewood Grills, with two other locations in Strongsville and Hudson, other establishments operated by Hospitality Restaurants include Salmon Dave’s in Rocky River, the Cabin Club in Westlake, Blue Point Grille downtown, Delmonico’s Steakhouse in Independence, the Thirsty Parrot downtown and Kingfish Seafood in Copley.
