Put inflammation control at the top of your list

The question I’m often asked is, if I could take only one supplement, what would it be? Of course, there really is no silver bullet or magic cure-all. But, if I had to prioritize my daily regimen, I would say anything that controls inflammation would be at the top of my list.

We know inflammation plays a major role in nearly 80 percent of all diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. The scary thing is, it’s not just inflammation we can feel from occasional pain or soreness. In most cases, inflammation is silent, potentially wreaking havoc on the body for years with little or no symptoms.

Not all inflammation is bad. In fact, we can’t live without it. We couldn’t fight an infection or repair an injury without inflammation. The problem is our modern lifestyle and diet that includes meat, corn, wheat, sugar and dairy, produces fuel for inflammation to burn out of control. Like a campfire, it’s helpful when confined, but able to produce widespread devastation if left unattended.

That is why I look at controlling, or modulating, inflammation as one of the most important things I can do to get and stay healthy. While there are many natural remedies that have anti-inflammatory action, including turmeric, ginger, Boswellia, even CBD from hemp, my favorite inflammation fighting formula is Zyflamend from New Chapter.
