The notion of hanging out in public places right now is not very appealing. So why not take charge of your summer and make your yard more inviting? A serene haven to kick back in and enjoy.

It’s really just a phone call away. The experts at Peters Professional Landscaping can take care of every last detail.

From mulching, edging and spring yard clean-up to designing and installing landscapes, building patios, and creating outdoor kitchens, firepits, ponds and fountains, these guys have been beautifying outdoor living spaces since 1992.

“We’ve perfected the balance of creating for our customers the outdoor space of their dreams that’s within their budget,” says founder Chris Peters.

Laying the Groundwork with Mulch
Now is a great time to lay your mulch, as it will retain its color longer into the summer.

“Our storage containers are filled with every color, style and shred,” says General Manager Josh Riley. “And since we buy in bulk, you can expect low prices, too.”

Choosing the right color can make a difference in emphasizing your home’s exterior as well as the colors of your landscaping. But the service is more complicated than just esthetics.

The Peters Professional Landscaping Mulch Mule takes about one-third of the time, with one-third the labor, to lay the same amount of mulch as the old-fashioned way. And they pass the savings along to the customer, so you’ll still receive the best quality product at better prices.

“Mulch also plays a role in conserving moisture in the soil and suppressing weed growth,” he explains. “From an environmental standpoint, it reduces erosion and sediment runoff.”

Meet the Mulch Mule
The gentlemen at Peters Professional Landscaping are always looking ahead to add equipment and protocols that save them time and their customers money. Last year they decided to take a different route to lay mulch in a manner that costs less and still produces beautiful results.

This novel piece of machinery has a dispensary chute that evenly discharges perfectly fluffed and aerated mulch into wheelbarrows, utility vehicles or front-end loaders.

Best-Practice Precautions
The conscientious gentlemen at Peters Professional Landscaping have been going above and beyond simple masking and gloving to protect their customers.

“We serve essential businesses throughout Northeast Ohio and have stayed open for the duration of the pandemic,” says General Manager Josh Riley.

“We made it our business from day one to go the extra mile. In addition to social distancing practices, masking and gloving, we completely sanitize our trucks and equipment at the beginning of the day and the end of the day. From the get-go, we’ve closely followed all of the Governor’s recommendations.”

Peters Professional Landscaping designers are sensitive to selecting the just-right combination of low maintenance stock that will bloom spring, summer and fall. They ask a lot of questions and get to know their customers.

He says that staying open through the crisis has its perks, as they have been able to fully stock their supplies of landscape materials and are open for residential customers.

“We’re meeting with customers fully masked to pull the trigger on summer jobs,” says Josh. “People are ready to kick back and feel carefree again.”

Keeping Things Blooming
Although folks appreciate landscaping, not everyone enjoys spending the time maintaining it.

Do you have any specific issues, like pesky deer eating whatever you plant? No worries, they can select deer-resistant stock.

“Great landscaping is like a work of art,” says Chris. “We mix different colors, shapes and species for the most pleasing, balanced look.”

Patio Perfect
In addition to landscaping, building a new patio or adding onto an existing one creates enhanced living spaces for everyone in the family.

Peters can create a look that is unique to you, working with top-of-the-line Unilock pavers.

They can also accent your space with firepits and fireplaces, water features like trickling fountains, and lighting installation to bring it to life at night.

A New Living Room...Outdoors
As a one-stop shop for all things outdoors, the folks at Peters offer a durable and super-stylish line of Amish-made outdoor furniture, from dining tables and chairs, to rockers, gliders and swings.
