With all the motivational magnetism and infectious positivity of icons such as Jack LaLanne, Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons, Jeff Tomaszewski lives up to his status as Cleveland’s modern-day fitness guru.

As founder of MaxStrength Fitness studios, he continues to tap into his background in the study of exercise science. He’s constantly combing research to bring people helpful ways to stay healthy.

So, when the Coronavirus hit, and most of us felt our lives come to an abrupt and turbulent halt, Jeff got busy.

He’s just launched a new online resource—The Coronavirus Survive and Thrive Guide—with loads of helpful content and resources to sharpen mind, body, spirit and more.

“At this moment in time, things have gone off the rails,” says Jeff. “But, like all events, this one shall pass. And when the dust settles, we’re going to be fine. The key lies in how you choose to deal with this new reality. I wanted to give people the tools to not only survive but also thrive during this uncertain time and beyond.”

He reports one of the most-shared posts in his company’s social media history is the Quarantine Checklist, which appears in the guide. It suggests 10 questions people should consider while following the stay-at-home order, such as “Did I attempt to find one thing that I took for granted?”

“People are telling me they printed it and laminated it so they can check off the items on the list each day, which is pretty cool,” says Jeff.

Are You Up to the Challenge?
“I figured since we are all mandated to stay at home right now, this would be a great time to work on bettering ourselves,” he says.

He and his amazing staff of trainers put together the free 6-Week Lifestyle Challenge, available on his site.

Unlike many of the self-help promotions you’re receiving online, there’s no cost or hidden agenda here.

The challenge will help you:

  • Disconnect from screens and reconnect with loved ones
  • Improve your sleep
  • Make gratitude part of your life
  • Benefit from the magic of meditation
  • Connect to the outdoors

“People will be able to take all these lessons and habits and put them into practice so by the end of six weeks, they will have seen the start of a life transformation,” he says.

Tapping Into Expert Help
For both existing and new clients, MaxStrength has been conducting virtual workouts. And they’ve become a huge hit.

“Our trainers are experts at zeroing in on clients’ needs and goals, and that comes through clearly even in a virtual format,” he says. “Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with clients.”

“In the end, with the Covid-19 situation, there are going to be those who rise and those who cave,” says Jeff.

“Whether through the new site or virtual workouts, I want to help people choose to view this as an opportunity to grow, get stronger and do great things despite what’s going on. Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. Who are you going to choose to be during the crisis?”
