Realtor Angela Caruso likes to be at the heart of things, whether in the charming century home on Brecksville’s Public Square where the Russell Realty office is based, or helping people find their dream home in Florida.

Since 2001, she has sold real estate in the Cleveland and Akron markets.

“Prior to getting my real estate license in 2001, I was involved in retail as well as the Food and Beverage Industry,” she says.

“For me, selling homes is the perfect fit. It allows me to access my business acumen while tapping into my people skills. I love it.”

Angela has called Brecksville home since 1974. In addition to raising her three sons here and being involved in the local schools, she has also engaged in many levels of the community, from planning gala balls to serving on the Mayor’s Think Tank, as well as the Fine Arts Association and Business Advisory Council.

“In representing my clients, I like to dig in, working hard to research any need they have,” she says. “My experience in staging a home to sell for top dollar and doing all of the social media marketing to make sure it is seen by the maximum number of people also sets me apart.”

“Multiple offers have become the norm,” says Angela. “That’s one of the many reasons, now more than ever, that people need a competent Realtor representing them to negotiate the best deal.”

She mentions that the inventory of homes for sale in Cleveland and Akron is historically low.

“I personally don’t focus on selling a particular price range of home,” she says. “I give the same loyalty to clients with condos and starter homes as I do to luxury properties.”

Eight years ago, Angela bought a home in Naples, Florida, and has become known as “the Naples connection” for Clevelanders looking to purchase a home or condo in this idyllic paradise city.

“I have always viewed real estate as a wise investment,” says Angela.

“After I bought my place in Naples, clients, family and friends up here began asking me for help to find them an investment that would pay off, whether it’s a retirement home, a vacation place, or just a property to rent out.”

She partners with another top producer in Florida to negotiate the best deals for her clients.

With its pristine, sugar-sand beaches, Gulf Coast breezes and proximity to great golf courses, Naples deserves the reputation of retirement mecca. Affordability is the same as in Ohio. Just like here, it depends on the location and the amenities which will meet your personal criteria.

“I’m working with younger and younger families who realize that the earlier they buy a place and rent it out, the more money they can make in the long run,” she says. “Someone in their 40s, for instance, could invest in a condo in one of the gorgeous high rises along the coast, and by the time they are retirement age have paid for a place to live. It can be lucrative.”
