Understanding your coverage options under the Affordable Care Act can sometimes be confusing. Deductibles for some plans are getting higher and premiums have risen. Naturally you want to be responsible and protect yourself and your family, but how can you be sure you’re getting the best value?

That’s where guidance from a licensed insurance agent can be invaluable. Sometimes it helps to have someone encourage you to think outside the box. Many people are attracted to the idea of protecting themselves financially. They want the most coverage for the money while making sure a catastrophic health event doesn’t impact their finances.

With the changes that are in play for this year’s open enrollment period (now through December 15), there may be options that can do all of the things you need them to do, even with a higher premium or higher deductible. It’s not all black and white. Sifting through the language insurance companies use is my specialty, and I can help you secure the coverage that works best for you and your family’s needs.

Some people may choose to stay with the ACA coverage they already had, others might choose to switch to a non-ACA governed plan.

If you decide to make a switch, it should really be based on sound information. A review with me will give you exactly that, but time is running out.

I offer my services free of charge, and I can provide access to carriers some other agents cannot. I can help you determine if you should elect coverage outside of the ACA, or if staying with the ACA makes better sense.
