With all of the CBD products flooding the market since the Ohio governor signed House Bill 57 legalizing hemp and CBD products in July, it is hard for consumers to sift through all the product nuances.

As a member of the Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, EV Naturals’ mission is to educate consumers and promote the benefits of cannabinoids.

“I tell customers to make sure they know where the product came from, how it was manufactured and what is in it so they are aware of what they are putting in their body,” says Randy Burch, who, along with his wife, Rhonda, opened EV Naturals last month in Parma.

“Instead of selling hemp products online or in grocery stores, salons and within any other businesses, EV Naturals is a stand-alone retail store. Here we not only sell the best products on the market, but we also focus on educating consumers about how CBD works in the human body,” says Randy. “There are so many different types of CBD products, uses and benefits that the consumer really needs to be educated about, because what works for one person might not work for someone else.”

“This is what separates us from all of the other stores selling CBD,” he adds, noting the name EV stands for education and value.

EV Naturals sells an array of local and national brands and will be introducing its own product line later this fall.

“Our product line will be grown in Ohio, processed in Ohio, manufactured in Ohio and sold in Ohio,” says Randy.

On the store shelves you will find topicals such as creams, balms and oils; ingestables, including tinctures; capsules and gummies; as well as whole plant flowers. Plus other products such as CBD-infused coffee, honey sticks, dog treats, pet shampoo, flavored vapes and bath bombs are available. Some customers, Randy notes, buy CBD isolates to cook with, adding them to various food recipes.

“I got interested in opening a CBD store because I have seen so many people benefit from these products, including people with chronic pain or anxiety, those with Parkinson’s disease, and children who have seizures, to name just a few,” says Randy.

“CBD has personally helped me deal with chronic back pain,” he notes. “After taking two CBD capsules a day, I have been able to stop my medication, and my wife, who suffers from migraines, also has found relief. Even our dogs are now calm during thunderstorms and fireworks.”

As a member of the Ohio Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, EV Naturals’ mission is to educate consumers and promote the benefits of cannabinoids.

“EV Naturals carries the highest quality products that are made with organic hemp and all are third-party tested,” Randy adds, noting the labels show less than 0.3 percent THC so you don’t get any psychoactive effects. “By educating our customers, we feel we can help them find the best product and enhance their overall wellness.”
