The newly formed I Perform Fitness in Wickliffe has already garnered a legion of local devotees, from elite high school and college athletes to busy working parents and seniors. This highly motivational level of customized HIIT training is fast-paced, fun and, best of all, produces results.

Now in light of the stay-at-home order, founder and certified personal trainer Jordan Taylor is making things easy for his clients and anyone else to train at home via virtual classes, and his own app.

“My passion lies in helping anyone of any age be their best,” he says. “Developing the best version of ourselves is the hardest path any of us will ever face. I find out what’s important to people and encourage them every step of the way.”

Accessible via his Facebook page or website, the 30-minute Zoom classes are offered in the mornings and evenings, and include elements of strength, core, cardio and flexibility.

You can train one-on-one or with a private group of friends. And on Thursday nights, at 7 p.m., he welcomes people to join a group class that is designed with modifications for three fitness levels. It’s ideal for families working out together.

“There’s no need for exercise equipment to join these boot camp-style drills,” he says. “All you need is five feet of space.”

“I realize that many of us will be feeling a hit to our paychecks with the stay-at-home order,” says Jordan. “And that’s why I decided to make the classes pay-as-you-can or pay-me-later. We are all in this together, and I believe in how important it is to continue your training. It affects body and mind, relieving stress and boosting immunity and mood.”

And to make training even more convenient, Jordan is working with a software developer to launch an app loaded with workouts customized to each client that’s available anytime, anywhere, on demand.

He’s also connected with a mentor of his to produce training videos for local high schools and colleges for use in health and physical education classes.

I Perform Fitness is located at 1321 Lloyd Road in Wickliffe. Certified Personal Trainer Jordan Taylor has worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Lake Erie College’s baseball team, as well as Euclid High School and many other sports organizations around the Cleveland area.
