Unfortunately, some women suffer as many as 20 episodes of hot flashes and night sweats per day due to menopause.

For some women, hot flashes and night sweats are infrequent and manageable. But for others, they are a major obstacle to daily living—forcing sufferers to endure as many as 20 episodes per day.

With this in mind, I want to revisit the herb that has been by far our most successful supplement for countless women, giving them relief in as little as seven days. It’s called pueraria mirifica (PM for short).

According to research, PM contains a complex of phytoestrogens, including one called miroestrol, that can effectively relieve menopausal symptoms. However, unlike the phytoestrogens from red clover, soy and black cohosh, miroestrol is bio-similar to a human estrogen, making it many times more powerful.

In fact, the phytoestrogens in PM have roughly 3,000 times the estrogenic activity of soy isoflavones. This is why I believe it works so well.

Is it safe? The answer appears to be a resounding, yes.

According to health expert Dr. Richard Passwater, author of more than 40 books and 500 articles on nutrition, PM is extremely effective yet much milder than actual estrogen and acts as a regulator—weakening estrogen when it’s too high and increasing the potency when it’s too low.

If you are looking for a natural option to help alleviate menopausal symptoms, I recommend PM PhytoGen Complex from Solgar. It combines PM with select B-vitamins to relieve hot flashes, night sweats, mood instability, emotional stress and fatigue. Probably the most impressive thing about PM PhytoGen is the speed with which it appears to work. Where most hormonal support products can take three to six months, we’ve had many customers tell us it has begun helping within the first seven to 10 days.
