Nobody really knows what’s going on between your butt cheeks—but you do, and you’d probably like to keep it that way. Let’s be honest, nobody shares the horror stories about what’s happening behind closed drawers at a cocktail party. You probably wouldn’t call up your best friend to describe the pain, itching and bleeding you’ve been experiencing from hemorrhoids for the past few months.

The reality is, hemorrhoids are embarrassing to talk about, which is why so many of my patients wait too long to get treatment. They dread the exam, they dread talking about the problem and they dread the idea of exposing themselves for treatment.

But here’s the truth: The exam takes about 20 seconds. During that time your bottom half is covered by paper shorts that can be “opened” from behind. I need less than a minute to take a look. For treatment, the same garment is worn, and your exposure time is just a few seconds longer than the exam.

And it might help to know you’re not alone. While most of my patients come to me feeling embarrassed, they leave wondering why they didn’t address the problem sooner.

I offer two, non-surgical methods to treat hemorrhoids. One reduces the blood flow that feeds the hemorrhoids, improving inflammation and causing them to shrink. The other is better suited to removing larger hemorrhoids. Both take just a few seconds to do. Since they are performed in an area with no nerve endings, they can be administered right in the comfort of my office without anesthesia.

There is virtually no pain, no prep needed, there are no major restrictions, and you don’t have to take time off of work. Consultations are free of charge and our procedures are covered by insurance. If you’ve met your deductible for the year, now is a perfect time to find relief.
