Comfort, quality and care. These are the three principles that guide Paul Mikhli, DDS, and the staff at Beachwood Dental every day.

“Any dentist can call him or herself a cosmetic dentist,” says Dr. Mikhli. “I am a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and am in the process of being fully accredited in cosmetic dentistry, making me one of only four or five dentists in the entire state with this distinction.”

Along with general dentistry care for the entire family, Dr. Mikhli offers cosmetic procedures ranging from teeth whitening and bonding to crowns, veneers and dental implants. Dr. Mikhli and his staff are prepared to help people achieve a healthy mouth and perfect smile. And it all starts with comfort.

“The fear of pain is a main reason people avoid the dentist,” says

Dr. Mikhli. “We can’t offer quality care without first getting people in the door. That starts with making them feel comfortable.”

A visit to Beachwood Dental starts with a warm greeting from the staff. Memory Foam chairs provide the utmost in comfort throughout treatment.

“If the chairs don’t do it, we can provide anti-anxiety medications, laughing gas and anesthesia if necessary for any procedures,” says Dr. Mikhli.

In fact, at your first free consultation, you may never even open your mouth.

“We start with a conversation about your needs and expectations,” says Dr. Mikhli. “In dentistry, there is a wide range of quality of care. Many people are suffering from tooth loss and other painful or embarrassing issues due to lack of quality dental care. If things aren’t dealt with correctly early on, there are often problems later. I will assess where you are now and provide you with options to empower you to make the right decisions for you.”

Dr. Mikhli not only prides himself on his knowledge and expertise in the latest techniques in dentistry, but also on his ability to customize each patient’s plan. With dentistry changing so rapidly, he trains in the latest techniques to offer patients the highest quality of care.

“Veneers and implants have been around a long time, but the procedures are constantly getting better,” says

Dr. Mikhli. “And so much planning goes on before an implant or veneer is placed that by the time the patient is ready for a procedure, it’s like clockwork. You wouldn’t build a house without a blueprint, and I approach each person’s smile just the same way. I want them to look natural. Just like themselves, only more confident with a beautiful new smile.”

Dr. Mikhli will make a model of what a patient’s smile can look like before any veneers or implants are placed.

“I will never tell a patient what to do,” says Dr. Mikhli. “I’ll tell them what can be done. My patients will never leave here feeling pressured to do a certain procedure. And, honestly, veneers or implants aren’t for everyone. The best advice I can give is to come in so we can talk about it.”

Dr. Mikhli loves what he does. Just ask his wife and four children. He freely gives his personal cell phone number to his patients and makes himself available at any time.

“I’m a small-town dentist in a big city,” says Dr. Mikhli. “I grew up here and I believe that if I treat my patients like family, I can’t go wrong.”
