The ladies behind the newly opened Agapé Organic Salon + Spa are taking a holistic approach to beauty and wellness, going beyond esthetic pleasure and into the realm of loving, transparent interactions, while offering luxury organic services and products.

“Consumers are now realizing that beauty products and hair color don’t have to be full of toxic chemicals to offer amazing results,” says Kathleen Stanley, who owns the salon along with Kelley Granfors. “With higher demands for living a toxic-free and more organic way of life, we are proud to be the first clean-air salon in Broadview Heights.”

They are on a mission to raise the local beauty industry standards.

What Does Biodynamic Mean?
Agapé intentionally uses only the cleanest products possible in its services and strives to offer experiences that rise above the traditional.

The salon boasts ammonia-free, organic hair color. They also can analyze the scalp with a trichoanalyzer and then diagnose and treat an array of scalp conditions using special biodynamic herbal blends in a series of treatments to heal conditions from dandruff to hair loss.

All stylists are tops in the field, specializing in cuts, styles and blowouts of every type—tailored to the individual look of each client.

Imported from Bologna, Italy, the Organic Way or OWAY line of products starts from the soil, with cultivation of medicinal plants on an organic farm. Harvested at their peak without the use of heavy machinery, herbal extracts and essential oils are gathered through steam distillation and used in the hair and skin care products. This green chemistry process ensures pure ingredients with high concentrations of vitamins and minerals that bring benefits to hair and skin.

Nails, Skin, Permanent Makeup
Nail services at Agapé include a non-toxic, vegan-friendly, oxygenating gel polish designed to optimize moisture and keep the integrity of the nail while slowly releasing vitamins into the nail plate. Specialty nail services also include a restorative treatment for damaged nails, hydrating and skin-brightening masks and the luxurious OWAY pedicure.

Located within the salon, JFlash Cosmetics, led by esthetician and permanent makeup artist Jennifer Flasher, offers permanent makeup and microblading procedures, organic facials, dermaplaning, waxing, brow tinting and lash lifts.

Her micropigmentation technique incorporates an organic and vegan line that embeds the pigment beneath the skin to add color to your eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. It’s also helpful in camouflaging hair loss or thinning hair in men and women. Or if you’re looking to remove unwanted tattoos, she specializes in an all-natural, saline solution process.

“My facials are customized to suit each client’s needs,” says Jennifer. In addition to facials, Jennifer offers light peels to reveal fresher, younger-looking skin, and Gua Sha facial treatments for lymphatic, connective tissue, deep facial massages.
