A year of improving smiles

After just having celebrated her one-year anniversary, Dr. Sanam Magrey, of Dental Care of Brunswick, would like to thank the patients and staff who stayed with her practice as it transitioned from a retired dentist.

“It’s unusual for a new doctor to take over an existing practice and retain almost all of the patients and staff, and we have done that,” she says. “It’s been a pleasure getting to know so many new families in the area. Since I’m a mother of two girls, I feel like children sense that and understand how much we care for them.”

Over the course of the year, Dr. Magrey has followed her vision of modernization, introducing new equipment, such as a digital panoramic X-ray machine for more accurate pictures of the upper and lower jaw, face and neck.

“This equipment allows us to visualize things beyond just the teeth and jaw, such as serious issues like bone cancer, cysts or malformation of the sinus cavity,” she says.

The office systems have been overhauled, too, with new payment programs and digital paperless account management. And, lastly, the practice’s décor, throughout the gracious lobby and treatment rooms, has undergone a lovely facelift.

The modernization continues heading into 2020. Dr. Magrey reports that she has undergone training and has purchased the system to be able to create same-day crowns.

“This is a more efficient system and offers a better experience for our patients,” she explains. Look for the new service to be available within the next six months.
