You’ll find Taqueria Junction in the heart of the historic Grand Pacific Junction district in downtown Olmsted Falls.
“I reimagined classic Mexican street food with a fusion of exotic culinary influences.”
— Chef and GM James Vecchio
Taqueria Junction opened in 2011 in a Victorian-era building in historic Grand Pacific Junction, fronted by a wrought-iron gated courtyard patio.
With its rustic Mexican décor, the restaurant’s 13 tables and 16 barstools provide great views of a spectacular neon-lit back bar.
James only works with the freshest ingredients, from made-from-scratch-daily salsas and sauces to being among the first to introduce grass-fed beef to Cleveland.
His Empanadas, a traditional Puerto Rican dish, are stuffed with cheese and veggies, and a choice of ground beef, chorizo, shredded chicken or braised brisket.
To show off his Mex side, James has also created dishes such as tacos, taquitos, tortilla soup, quesadillas, Mexican pizzas, enchiladas, chimichangas and more.
It’s a margarita mecca.
Taqueria Junction has become known for its hand-crafted cocktails, such as sangria and margaritas. A tantalizing signature margarita—The Modern—seduces the senses with Milagro silver tequila, hand-squeezed orange, lime and lemon juices, and agave nectar.
In addition to the house style margarita, they also make:
• Honey tea

James and his staff are adept at educating customers about tequila.
The more than 60 varieties of tequila served here include:
Gold - Colored and flavored with caramel.
Silver - Clear and tastes smooth and peppery.
Reposado - A silver tequila that has been aged for a year in wooden casks. A richer flavor profile of this variety offers tastes of fruit, butterscotch, vanilla and caramel.
Anejo - The highest end tequila, a silver brand aged up to four years that has become a deep copper color with dominant flavors of caramel, toffee, roasted nut and brown spices.
