“Our patients feel very comfortable and relaxed here,” explains Dr. Al Psota, part of the father-daughter dental team at Middleburg Heights Family Dental. “You don’t even feel like you’re at the dentist. We treat people the way we want to be treated.”
The 4,000 square foot facility features nine treatment rooms. When you’re seated, you can enjoy your favorite show on a large monitor or listen to your favorite music on a stereo headset. You can even enjoy spa-like treatments from warming gloves to heated or cooled neck pillows.
Instead of the traditional receptionist, dental assistant and hygienist found at most practices, Middleburg Heights Family Dentistry insists on a more hands-on approach, employing “treatment coordinators” who stay with a patient throughout his or her entire visit, assist the dentist during each procedure, handle the insurance claims, and then schedule the next appointment.
And the relaxed, patient-centric tone set by Drs. Al and Jenn is carried through to every member of the staff. “We like to have fun here,” describes Dr. Jenn Psota, Dr. Al’s daughter and partner in the practice.
“Dad and I are like one person. We’re both very relaxed and our patients can feel that. And they appreciate our high level of genuine customer service. You’d be surprised how many of our new patients tell us they’ve switched to us because of our reputation for outstanding patient care.”
